- Lemon
- Adult content - romance, sex, language and/or violence
- Slash (also Yaoi)
- Adult content as above but involving same sex relationships.
- OCC
- Acroynym for 'Out of Character' used to warn that a fan author is writing about established character but with an altered approach to its personality.
- AU
- Acroynym for 'Alternate Universe' used when the cannon story line is changed in a minor (or major!) way.
